		<description>Wow, that&#039;s pretty terrible and hard to imagine -- I thought the trail was in great shape. The only part that seemed at all dodgy was crossing the one snowfield (not the one at the peak), but otherwise it seemed like one of the best cared-for trails I&#039;ve been on in the last four weeks (but I wasn&#039;t exactly inspecting the retaining walls along the way). Really sad.</description>

		<description>Was the Lassen Peak trail in poor condition when you were there? Sadly the next day, a 9 year old boy died in a rock slide. Apparently a rock wall gave way.</description>

		<description>When I go to the cabin, takes 2 or 3 days of climbing up hills for the quads to get back in shape.  I&#039;m trying to spend more time on the 20-yard hill here in Illinois to keep it down to 2 days next month.</description>
