So I took a make-up photo day before yesterday. It’s a little more legible.
I ended up staying in Illinois till yesterday (Friday). I am, as you may thereby deduce, way behind on postings.

Note that the east side (near Chicago) is dark, blurry, and unattractive while the west side is bright, cheery, and would be a good place to call home. Kind of like Washington of the West and Washington of the east — West wins.
Wait — don’t you own homes in the eastern parts of both those states…?
It’s an Angle of Repose thing — West = good; East = shallow and bad.. AT least that’s the idea I get from the first 40% of AoR.
